I have been at WECL for one month. During this period, I have improved my English in all areas.
First, my listening ability has improved by listening to different foreigner teachers’ lessons. Every teacher at WECL is very patient, lively and responsible. They often ask students whether they have questions. They answer the question in detail until the students understands totally.
Second, I feel more confident about speaking English than before. At WECL, we have lots of interesting games to deepen our memory such as guessing the meaning of the words by actions, designing and acting situational playlets and little competitions for word memory etc. I am interested in these little games. I can remember useful information when I am having fun.
Furthermore, my reading and writing ability is also better than before.
Finally, I thank WECL for creating this rich and colorful environment of English learning. I thank the teachers for their wonderful lessons and thank my classmates for their warmhearted help. I believe I will make more progess in English at WECL in the future. |

Before I came to WECL, I had made many comparisons among English schools.The unigue teaching methods of WECL attracted me a lot and finally I choose here,which was a decision I’ll never regret.I have been here for only several months,but I have already make huge progress in my English.What’s more, I have met many foreign teachers from different places and classmates with varid backgrounds. I have studied here for one semester. I think my English has improved. I have made lots of friends at WECL. I enjoy learning, I enjoy being here. I think I have a good future. I can go abroad or study in Qingdao with my family and help my father with his business, and also I can have my own business. |

Vivien Yuan is in her second year at WECL. She has gone from a student who seldom spoke, even to answer questions, to one who offers opinions and keen insight into stories she is reading. She has participated in several business projects, and recently earned a place on the mid-term honor roll.

Lewis Lu, CSP also questioned his ability as an adult learner, and felt younger students were advancing faster than him. He did not give up, however and used body language, simple words and even pictures to ask questions and give answers when words failed him. His smile was constant, even with the brain ache he had. Today he converses well, and the questions and comments he makes show understanding and hard work at English. His writing shows creativity and much improvement. |

Jeff Zhang, QP began in September with nearly no English. He considered quitting because he could not understand anything that was being said, and doubted his ability as an adult learner. He believed his teachers who said it would get better, and stuck to an intense program of study and after hours work. Today his English is not perfect, and he sometimes does not understand. He can now ask when he doesn’t and hold conversation in English. His writing shows great improvement. |

Before I came to WECL, I learned logistics management and marketing, sales, at Jinan University where I studied. I came to WECL because I want to learn spoken English. I hope that if I can speak English fluently, I can find a good job. After I finish at WECL, I hope to continue my studies, but if I cannot I will find a job.
The most important thing I’ve learned at WECL is participating in the English environment and speaking English. Usually, I’m the first one to answer the teacher’s question. It makes me more confident, and has improved my spoken English skills. I like our CSP class and I like this school and all its teachers. |

I’m Fiona, I’m 21 years old. I come from Sichuan and have a sister who is 17 years old.
Before I came to WECL, I was studying at Beijing University, a very long time to the west of me. I repent that I did not return to continue my studies. I do want to learn English. I hope I can speak fluently, and that is why I came here. After WECL, I will go back to Beijing where my major was computer science. I know that good English can help be find a good job.

Nemo is our class monitor. I think hes the best student in our class. He is not very tall, he has short hair and he wears glasses. He likes all kinds of sports and all kinds of music.
